Protecting the data of our customers is a responsibility we at Drive In films Ltd take seriously. The security of your data is as important to us as it is to you. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will take all steps necessary to comply with our legal obligations when using your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we fulfil this commitment.

Drive In Films Ltd is a registered company in the UK reg number 12627356 (“us”, “we”, “our”). We act as a data processor when we issue the ticket when you make a booking for one of our events. When you interact with us through our websites (or otherwise, including purchasing tickets directly at our events) you may provide to us, or we may collect, certain information from which you are personally identifiable (which is referred to as personal data).

For the purposes of the data protection laws, we are also the “data controller”, meaning that we are responsible for deciding how your personal data is used and more importantly, for keeping your data safe and only using it for legitimate purposes.

We have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

Drive In Films’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its websites. If you as the customer choose not to provide this information it is your choice but we may not be able or willing to provide you with services or products if you do not.

Types of personal data you may provide to aid the booking and service processes include:

  • Contact – first name, surname, Age/DOB, country of residence, email address, telephone numbers, car registration details, parking location and address
  • Profile – your preferences for marketing, other website preferences, your contact history and feedback on your The Luna Drive in Films experiences through reviews surveys

In purchasing from Drive In Films you are consenting to us collecting information for that transaction, you will also be requested to confirm at the check out if you wish to opt out of further marketing materials associated with Drive In Films and our affiliates.

 

Aggregated Statistics

Drive In Films may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. Drive In Films may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

How long do we store your data?

We will store your data for as long as you have an “active” Drive in Films purchase, or as long as is needed to be able to provide the services to you and/or where you are still happy to hear from us about our latest news, products and services.

After this, we may still need to keep hold of your data if there is a legal reason for doing so (such as for tax or other financial reasons (such as being able to deal with chargebacks), where we need to resolve any disputes with you, or where we need to enforce our terms and conditions). In such circumstances, we will only retain the amount of data strictly necessary for these reasons and otherwise, will remove your data from our systems.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Drive In Films may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Drive In Films sole discretion.
